Glenarriff (also spelt Glenariffe) (in Irish: Gleann Airimh, i.e. glen
of arable land) is a glen in the traditional Irish county of Antrim in
Northern Ireland. Like all glens in that area, it was shaped during
the Ice Age by giant glaciers.
It is sometimes called the 'Queen Of the Glens' and is the largest
and most popular of the Glens of Antrim. The village of Waterfoot
lies on the coast at the foot of the glen. It is also on the The
Causeway Coastal Route one of the worlds greatest road
journeys.
Only a short drive from all major Northern Ireland attractions, Airports and Ferry ports.
Most visitors travel the glens by car, but two Ulsterbus routes serve the area all year
round. The Antrim Coaster also runs all year round, stopping at every town on the
road from Belfast to Coleraine.
